Concord First Assembly Church Meets Growing Print Demand With RICOH Pro C900

Tuesday 17. August 2010 - Affordable, High End Results Bring Printing Needs In-House

The Production Printing Business Group (PPBG) of Ricoh Americas Corporation is proud to announce the installment of the RICOH Pro C900 at Concord First Assembly Church in Concord, North Carolina. The machine, which will be utilized to meet the continued in-house needs of Concord First Assembly’s growing Congregation, will operate specifically to service the church’s expanding membership along with its K-12 school, assisted living facility, and daycare center. The church, which previously outsourced their production printing needs to a local print shop, will now utilize the RICOH Pro C900 for their growing printing needs in a more economically and cost effective manner.

Functionality, flexibility, speed, and high end results, offered at an affordable price, were important factors in the selection of the RICOH Pro C900. In addition, the printer’s color consistency, increased productivity, and turnaround time were instrumental in confirming the need to bring printing accessibility in-house. The RICOH Pro C900 now better equips Concord First Assembly to handle many projects including four-color work, cards, banners, songbooks, school documents, and business reports, among others.

“Because our smaller office devices are from Ricoh, I knew they delivered an excellent product,” stated Cindy Corl, print media director for Concord First Assembly. “The RICOH Pro C900’s quality color output and ease of maintenance, along with the ability to customize materials to more effectively reach new and existing members, were key decision factors for us. Creating materials in-house with the RICOH Pro C900 has saved us valuable time, and people actually think we’re outsourcing to a commercial printer, that’s how good the pieces look.”

Concord First Assembly plans to upgrade their efforts by moving into variable data printing to enhance the church’s marketing efforts. Additionally, they have plans to add a cover interposer and a heavier booklet maker that will enable the creation of larger documents.

“Giving our customers flexibility, while providing consistent quality and continued support is our ultimate goal,” said Carl Joachim, vice president of marketing, PPBG, Ricoh Americas Corporation. “The Pro C900 is another example of how Ricoh products deliver worry-free exemplary results that allow our customers to focus on more important things, in Concord’s case, continued growth of their congregation.”
