manroland takes off with a new sales and service network in the growth markets
Wednesday 11. August 2010 - Set up on its own over a year ago, the manroland AG market organization is off to a good start in the growth markets.
manroland is strengthening its commitment to the growth markets, covering everything from service to consultation and consumables to software. These emerging key markets are of special importance for manrolands business. This is why the company has taken over control of the sales and service networks in India, Latin America, southern Africa, and the Southeast Asia/Pacific region.
Example of market organization in Latin America: “The sales and service organization of manroland in Brazil and the other countries in Latin America has been hard at work since its establishment a year ago. Customers are truly aware of the energy, motivation, and competence of our employees,” states Gerd Finkbeiner, CEO of manroland. Proof of this successful start can be found in sales from the Expoprint exhibition in June: manroland has increased orders by 65 percent since the founding of this subsidiary.
Example of service Down Under: manroland Australasia has been in charge of sales and service in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Region since June 2009. manroland Australasia was formed from the existing service subsidiary for web offset presses and has opened offices in Sydney and Melbourne. The complete manroland product and service portfolio is now bundled in the new manroland company. Here, sales of PRINTVALUE services and PRINTVALUE consumables have increased by about 50 percent over the levels from 2008.
Example for Turkey: Since October 2009, manroland has been working with a strong new partner, Pasifik Trading, to conquer the important growth market in Turkey. Pasifik Trading has its headquarters in Istanbul. Besides presses, the portfolio includes a comprehensive range of services. Pasifik Trading employs a staff of 26 at its locations in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir. The companys first successes include sales of a sheetfed system and a commercial printing system.
