Friday 06. August 2010 - Pantec GS Systems invited to Open House for RHINO(tm), an in-line hotfoil embossing system - interested parties from 11 countries visited

To get a first hand impression of RHINO(tm), an in-line hotfoil embosser for reel-fed material, Pantec GS Systems arranged an open house at the end of July and visitors from 11 countries attended. OEM’s as well as Printers took the opportunity to visit the show in Kradolf, Switzerland, to see the system running and to test with their own stamping tools.

Hotfoil embossing combines the steps of hotfoil stamping and embossing into one single tool, with several benefits for the embossing process. The live demos proved that RHINO(tm) achieves especially on uncoated, structured papers significantly better quality and efficiency than conventional rotary systems.

Since market launch beginning of 2010, six orders for new RHINOís(tm) or upgrades were placed by european label manufacturers. The pay back of RHINO in rotary presses is extremely fast due to cost savings on foil and tools and faster production.
