PaperCo launches 9lives Preprint
Thursday 29. July 2010 - An environmentally sound paper that can be litho pre-printed and subsequently laser or inkjet over-printed is being launched now by PaperCo.
9lives Preprint is manufactured in France at an ISO 14001 accredited mill using 100% post consumer waste and the product is FSC, NAPM and EU Eco label certified.
It is the ideal stock for hybrid printing jobs, typically used for business communications, transactional documents, corporate stationery, direct mail, flyers and reports.
“This is a paper that will be attractive to our Government, designer and printer customers because in addition to its born again sustainability factors, it has a high bright white look, prints consistently well and gives good bulk and opacity,” says Charles Eaton, head of marketing at PaperCo.
“It is quite clear that both litho offset and digital printing technology will continue side by side for the foreseeable future and many printers now house both technologies and are seeing an increase in demand for products which use both processes. This new addition to the 9lives family fills this gap with a product that sustains the ranges reputation for sustainability, printability and availability.”
It will be available from member merchants of PaperCo in SRA1 (80, 90, 100, 120 and 140gsm weights) SRA2 (80, 90, 100, 120, 140 and 160gsm) and SRA3 (80, 90 and 100gsm weights). In some weights the SRA1 and SRA2 products can be supplied on pallets as well as ream wrapped.
