Xerox DocuMate 3115 Receives “Outstanding Achievement” Award from Buyers Laboratory
Tuesday 27. July 2010 - Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) today announced that Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI), the worlds leading independent tester of document imaging products, awarded its prestigious Summer 2010 "Outstanding Achievement" award in the scanner category, to the Xerox DocuMate 3115 for "Outstanding Control Panel Design."
Dial up ease of use
According to BLI, the Xerox DocuMate 3115 offers users the ability to choose from up to six one-touch scan profiles by simply turning a front panel dial to the desired number that corresponds to a scanning configuration and destination. Most other scanners tested either offer a generic scan hard key, or nothing at all, forcing users to make selections from the driver. Eliminating multiple steps provides DocuMate 3115 users with more flexibility.

Intelligent Flexibility
The Xerox DocuMate 3115 is a new mobile duplex color scanner plus docking station developed with dual platform support for Windows and Mac operating systems. It has a 20-page automatic document feeder (ADF) and scans at 15 ppm/30 ipm. When undocked, the scanner can function through USB- or wall-power as a sheetfed scanner. The front feed slot accepts documents from letter/legal/A4 size to photos, receipts and plastic ID cards. Powered by Visioneer OneTouch technology, the scanner allows users to scan to the “destination” of their choice by pressing a single button, eliminating multiple steps usually required to save scanned documents in popular file formats.

Priced at $399.99 US List price the Xerox DocuMate 3115 comes complete with the ADF-equipped Docking Station. The DocuMate 3115 is also available without the docking station for $349.99, and the docking station alone is available at $99.99
