Dr. Nicola Leibinger-Kammueller appointed new member of the Supervisory Board of Axel Springer AG
Thursday 15. July 2010 - Dr. Nicola Leibinger-Kammueller, 50, has been appointed new member of the Supervisory Board of Axel Springer AG. Thus the board is complete again after the resignation of Brian M. Powers, CEO of the Hellman & Friedman investment group.
Dr. Nicola Leibinger-Kammueller is president and chairwoman of the Managing Board of Trumpf GmbH + Co. KG. The Ditzingen-based high-tech company is one of the worldwide leading suppliers of machine tools, laser and medical technology. Furthermore Dr. Leibinger-Kammueller is Managing Director of the Berthold Leibinger foundation since 1992.
Dr. Giuseppe Vita, chairman of the Supervisory Board, thanked Brian Powers for his engagement and welcomed the new board member: “We are pleased that we have won an impressive entrepreneur in Dr. Leibinger-Kammueller for the supervisory board of Axel Springer AG.”
