Solopress install the latest MIS from Shuttleworth

Their wealth of knowledge and experience has made them a multi-award winning business so to keep ahead of their field they have recently installed the latest version of Shuttleworth Business System’s MIS to improve efficiency, to bring them up-to-date, and to improve the printing process from start to finish.

Adam Wilson-Bowen, Solopress Operations Manager, explains the reasons for choosing to install the full Management Information System (MIS) from Shuttleworth: “After considering different companies and products, we chose Shuttleworth because they were able to offer a flexible approach that didn’t interfere with our individuality. Shuttleworth customised the software to our exacting needs as we operate very differently to other printers so this adaptability was essential.” Adam described Shuttleworth as extremely helpful when discussing the implementation process, and said that Shuttleworth spent time explaining exactly how the system would work.

Solopress aim to streamline their business and increase efficiency using the Shuttleworth MIS, Adam explains; “At Solopress we operate on a 24 hour turn-around process, increasing our efficiency results in more jobs per 24 hours which is good for our clients. As well as the entire production process becoming faster, the time it takes to respond to existing and potential clients is decreased.” Adam expressed the need for a standardised protocol in which to complete printing from start to finish; “these packages have enabled us to implement efficiencies, to maintain and grow our business by improving the speed in which we can complete jobs and respond to clients.”
