World Press Trends to be Presented at Publish Asia
Thursday 01. July 2010 - With Asian newspapers showing the strongest growth globally in recent years, the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) has decided to release its annual World Press Trends report at the Publish Asia 2010 Conference and Expo, to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 3 to 5 August next.
World Press Trends, the primary and most authoritative source of data on the newspaper industry worldwide, covers all 233 countries and territories where newspapers are published. Asian newspapers have found themselves at the top of the growth table in recent years, and the continent is home to many of the worlds largest newspapers.
World Press Trends will be the subject of a major presentation at Publish Asia, which takes the theme, “Rethink, Rebuild and Reach Out!” The event includes three concurrent conferences (CEO Conference, Newsroom Summit and Printing Summit), four learning workshops and an exhibition of the latest products and services from suppliers to the industry.
