Glunz & Jensen now also takes in the South American Punch/Bend market

Thursday 10. June 2010 - Last month Glunz & Jensen booked three significant punch/bend orders in Malaysia. Since Glunz & Jensen won the world’s biggest newspaper order in Singapore in January 2010, the company has succeeded in continuing a trail of significant worldwide orders at the largest printers in the graphic industry.

Glunz & Jensen has now set its strategy for taking in the BRIK countries – Brazil, Russia, India and China, which are now ready for total pre-press solutions, including processing and punch/bending equipment along with intelligent automation systems.

The company opens up its strategy with significant sales to La Voz del Interior, the largest daily newspaper in Argentina, who continued their relationship with Glunz & Jensen’s Punch Bend division by tapping them for two new ProVision Alliance Punch/Bender’s with two new entry conveyors and two new plate stackers to expand their platemaking production.

Glunz & Jensen was able to provide a solution not only for the platemaking equipment, but also press registration lockups for both presses.

La Voz Del Interior: is the largest daily newspaper in Argentina. It has served Cordoba and Argentina for 106 years under the same name. It publishes over 102,000 newspapers on Sunday, with an average of 3.6 readers per newspaper. La Voz del Interior are in the process of including an extra tower to their Goss Headliner Offset Press as well as adding a Goss Metrocolor press to their facility. La Voz del Interior will run web widths of both 50 inch (1270mm) and 60 inch (1524mm). – The ProVision Alliance will punch and bend plates to fit their expanding press room.
