Exclusive Partnership: Muller Martini and Solema Sign a Marketing Agreement for the PLUTON Palletizer

Friday 04. June 2010 - Automated production is becoming increasingly popular in the graphics industry. Finishing processes require production modes that increase the efficiency of the line in both the upper performance range, and increasingly in the medium performance range too. This is why Muller Martini is offering the new Solema palletizer.

With immediate effect, Muller Martini now has a world-exclusive right to sell the Solema palletizer in new systems. This exclusive right applies to production lines for softcover, hardcover, saddle stitching and press delivery system applications. Solema will continue offering extensions for existing lines via its own sales network.

The partnership relates to the following palletizer models: MINI PLUTON (12 to 15 bundles/min), PLUTON (20 to 25 bundles/min) and SUPER PLUTON (35 to 45 bundles/min). “We are very excited about the sales partnership with Solema,” said Daniel Langenegger, member of the Muller Martini corporate management. “The Solema palletizers cover a wide performance range for finishing processes, thereby making an ideal contribution to our lines.” Ennio Mazzola, owner of Solema, added: “By cooperating with Muller Martini, we are strengthening our global presence and reaching out to additional fields of application with our products.”
