SGIA Presents Changes in Air Pollution Standards Webinar
Monday 24. May 2010 - New regulations affect printing facilities in Wisconsin
SGIA, in conjunction with Printing Industries of Wisconsin (PIW), Printing Industries of America (PIA), Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) and Wisconsin Department of Commerce presents “The Changing Regulatory Landscape and Its Impact on the Printing Industry” Webinar on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at 2:00 pm Eastern.
The presentation offers an overview of applicable air permitting regulations. If you operate a printing facility in Wisconsin, regardless of print process, it is critical to attend the Webinar to understand how these changes impact your facility.
The program also discusses changes to air pollution control standards that impact the operations of all types of printing processes. These new regulatory provisions became effective August 1, 2009, and facilities in nonattainment areas must certify by July 1 of this year. Provisions include:
-Solvent usage
-Use of inks
-Fountain solution
-Blanket washes by the commercial printing industry
The Webinar fee is $25. Participants will receive a workbook developed by the Wisconsin Department of Commerce’s Small Business Assistance office, which will walk you through all environmental programs that may impact your operation.
