New Service to Print Documents Stored on Salesforce CRM at Seven-Eleven Stores Across Japan

Tuesday 18. May 2010 - Offers Convenient Printing Environment for Mobile Working

On May 12, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. and Seven-Eleven Japan Co., Ltd. will start new print service for business users, which enhances collaboration with Salesforce CRMNote 1, the online SaaS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) service provided by salesforce.com Co., Ltd.

The new service will be available through Fuji Xerox’s Net Print ServiceNote 2, and enables users to print electronic documents stored on the document storage of Salesforce CRM at multi-use copiersNote 3 (Fuji Xerox’s digital color multifunction device) in Seven-Eleven stores across Japan. To date, Net Print Service has offered printing of documents such as estimate forms created on OPROARTS for SalesforceNote 4 (provided by OPRO Japan Co., Ltd.), which runs on Salesforce CRM. With the new service, all documents stored/shared on the Documents tab, document storage of Salesforce CRM, can be printed.

With the spread of mobile working following emerging technologies including cloud computing and SaaS, there is a growing need for printing on the road. Businesses are also finding new uses for Net Print Service, which offers printing at multi-use copiers installed in 12,750 Seven-Eleven stores (as of April 2010) across Japan.

The new service is accessed by using a free application from AppExchangeNote 5 run by salesforce.com. Simply installing the application adds a Net Print tab on Salesforce CRM, from where users can print documents stored on the Documents tab. In addition to being able to print the document securely, with no data remained on any terminal, users can make high-quality printouts to be made at the nearest Seven-Eleven store when they suddenly need a document while on the move or on a business trip.

Net Print Service continues to forge tie-ups with other services to deliver convenient, easy-to-use printing services which satisfy the needs of users and society, and also serves as a satellite office for businesspeople offering basic functions including copying, faxing and scanning.
