PaperCo to sell new Pro-Design products

Wednesday 12. May 2010 - PaperCo will be offering a new 300gsm Pro-Design laser paper, ideal for digital printers, from this month. The new product is available in A4, A3 and SRA3 formats.

Pro-Design is manufactured by International Paper at its Saillat mill in France. The mill itself is PEFC certified and the product carries the PEFC logo and EU Ecolabel. All products in this range will in future be supplied in a recyclable paper wrap that better reflects the environmental credentials of the line. The weights already supplied include 90, 100, 120, 160, 200, 250 and 280gsm stocks in A4 to SRA2 (to SRA3 in 90gsm) formats.
Charles Eaton, marketing manager at PaperCo, says: “We have found Pro-Design to be a popular paper with quickprint, inplant and digital printers generally. Its bright whiteness, runnability and environmental status combine to make it a good choice for high quality, even running duplex. We welcome this additional heavier stock.
“The Saillat mill is very green-minded and has reduced its CO2 emissions by 78% since 1990 and sources all its wood from sustainably managed forests from within a 120km transport distance.
