Train the trainer in Offenbach
Friday 07. May 2010 - printservices staff development for printing professionals
Just over a dozen technical trainers will be audited and certified by manroland in Offenbach throughout 2010. This will cover technical training as well as instruction in didactics, so that the technology transfer from manroland to its customers will work even more efficiently.
Prerequisites for certification include the following steps: basic train the trainer seminar, advanced trainer seminar, practical experience as a trainer (by documenting the presentation of at least six of their own training courses), feedback discussions with the subject-matter superior, and coaching and auditing by an external auditor. As a result, certification can be achieved after approximately one year at the earliest.
Thanks to the continuing development of its training program, manroland is able to document the quality of the currently active trainers and the courses. In particular, the trainers receive confirmation of their performance, which motivates them further, not only in terms of professional qualification but also with respect to methodology and didactics. This improves their ability to keep the customers personnel and the colleagues in the Market Organization all over the world up-to-date on the latest technological developments.
“The performance of our presses decisively depends on the qualification level of our customers and our Market Organizations staff. To ensure a first class training level a first class training concept is vital. This is why we additionally certify our trainers,” says Karl-Heinz Severin, Vice President Sheetfed Competence Center. Auditing is a recognized industry certification and is done by an association of several industrial companies (www.vermit.de).
