Fraser Papers Completes Sale of Thurso Pulp Mill

Tuesday 04. May 2010 - Fraser Papers Inc. (together with its subsidiary, FPS Canada Inc., "Fraser Papers") announced that on April 30, 2010, it completed the sale of its pulp mill located in Thurso, Québec to Fortress Specialty Cellulose Inc.

Fraser Papers remains under creditor protection pursuant to the provisions of the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (“CCAA”), with its stay of proceedings having been extended by the court to July 9, 2010.
