WorkflowOne Names Dean Truitt Chief Executive Officer
Monday 03. May 2010 - WorkflowOne, a leading provider of managed print and promotional marketing services, today announced that Dean Truitt, formerly President and Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to the position of CEO of WorkflowOne. Truitt will continue to report to Dave Davis, Chairman and CEO of Workflow Management and Senior Managing Director of Perseus, L.L.C.
“Since October 2008, Dean has served in senior leadership roles including Vice President of Operations and most recently, President and Chief Operating Officer,” said Dave Davis. “With his depth and experience in executive leadership and restructuring companies, he has positioned WorkflowOne as a successful and competitive company within the industry.”
Under Truitts leadership, WorkflowOne was named “Top Distributor of 2009” by Print Professional Magazine. Also in 2009, the Advertising Specialty Institute ranked WorkflowOne among the top 15 promotional products distributors.
Dean Truitt has nearly 30 years of experience in successfully leading turnarounds, performance improvement programs, growth initiatives and merger integrations for Fortune 500 companies. He was previously with AlixPartners, a leading global business advisory and turnaround firm, where he assisted CEOs and private equity firms with major turnarounds and served in interim senior management roles for clients. As an equity partner with Ernst & Young, Truitt assisted Fortune 500 clients with the implementation of growth initiatives, merger and acquisitions and performance improvement while serving in the roles of National Consumer Products Industry Leader and National Merger Integration Practice Leader for Products. When the firms management consulting division merged to become Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Truitt served as the area Vice President of the Central Region Products consulting practice. He began his career at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) where he assisted over 50 clients with the implementation of major performance improvement and information technology programs. Truitt holds a B.S. degree in industrial engineering from Oklahoma State University.
