New Color-Logic Process Metallic Color Swatch Chart Demonstrates Worry-Free Metallic Printing
Monday 03. May 2010 - Color-Logic, developer of the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System, has announced the availability of a new color chart demonstrating metallic printing produced using the new system. The Color-Logic metallic color chart, with 250 brilliant metallic color swatches, was produced using only five inks, rather than the 250 different inks required with traditional metallic printing systems.
A chart printed by a certified Color-Logic printer is available upon request at www.color-logic.com.
Discussing the new design metallic color chart, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves commented: “The Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System is a revolutionary new concept which relieves graphic designers and their printers of concerns about complexity, expense, the use of multiple metallic inks, and unpredictable results in the pressroom. Our new metallic color chart vividly demonstrates how only five inks can be used on a single press sheet to consistently produce 250 different metallic colors. Not only does the Color-Logic system yield consistent, reproducible results, for the first time it enables graphic designers to use either UV or aqueous coatings and maintain the metallic brilliance they were looking to produce.”
