ROLAND 700 Ultima
Friday 23. April 2010 - Build your own ROLAND 700 Ultima.
In accordance with the modular design principle, the customer configures the ROLAND 700 Ultima unit for unit together with manroland. This is how it can meet individual demands and every requirement. There are as many possibilities as there are product ideas. Creativity is virtually unlimited.
Inline enhancement: Exclusively enhanced print products can be quickly produced in the highest quality because the Ultima uses the inline enhancement technology proven over many years with single and double coating modules. One of its specialities: high-quality printing and coating on both sides of the sheet in one pass. This process is especially suitable for long runs that must be produced in the shortest possible time. After the first coating module, the sheets run through two dryers and an application module. Then the sheets are turned and printed and coated on the other side.
Special effects: The ROLAND 700 Ultima can be configured with a coating module plus dryer modules immediately after the sheet turning station. For special effects with premium packaging or brochures, the coating and drying modules can be located directly after the feeder. These special presses are suitable above all for applying opaque white or metallic effect coatings upstream of the offset printing units.
Job turnaround times: The manroland Ultima configurations impress with flexibility and modularity. Job turnaround times can be drastically reduced because, depending on the configuration, a second or even a third offline process is saved. This means fewer operators, fewer logistics steps, and less storage space required for semi-finished goods. The number of waste sheets is reduced as well because the signatures are completed in one pass and the printers can control color and register for the complete signature so there is no risk of problems only showing up during a second pass. Printing companies who know what their market wants can configure an Ultima press to tap their full production potential and benefit from high utilization of this special press.
