Metro New York Launches Queens Zoned Edition

Friday 23. April 2010 - Today Metro New York announced the launch of its first Queens zoned edition with 40,000 copies distributed throughout Queens. This weekly edition includes Queens-focused editorial and provides a direct way for local retailers to reach their customers with affordable, geographically targeted advertising.

“Advertisers want to target their local market in the most efficient way,” says Ed Abrams, Executive Sales Director, Metro New York. “This Queen’s zoned edition is a chance to get [the advertiser’s] sales message in front of your most-likely customers: those who live or work near your business.”

Metro’s Queens zoned edition will be distributed every Thursday at high-traffic commuter neighborhoods including Forest Hills, Elmhurst, Astoria, Long Island City, Kew Gardens, Briarwood, Woodhaven, Jackson Heights, Woodside, Ravenwood, and Fresh Meadows.
