Join SGIA in celebrating Earth Day’s 40th Anniversary tomorrow, April 22, 2010, by implementing sustainable practices to protect the environment – and the industry.

In honor of the 40th anniversary, SGIA has created its ’40 for 40′ Earth Day ideas to put you on the right track to sustainability. These small, simple lifestyle changes at work, home and play can help protect the environment not just on Earth Day but all year long!

SGIA’s Earth Day tips include:
-Take reusable grocery bags to the store – it saves on plastic and sometimes gets you a discount!
-Use natural cleaning products in your home.
-Proofread your work before printing to avoid waste.
-Switch to public transportation or carpool with friends.
-Buy a reusable water bottle to tote around.
