Ricoh Americas Corporation Announces Organizational Changes

Monday 19. April 2010 - Matthew J. Espe Named as Chairman and CEO of Ricoh Americas Corporation

Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment, announced several key leadership changes designed to align the organization under integrated leadership and enhance future growth. Ricoh’s direct sales and service organizations in the U.S., namely Ricoh Business Solutions and IKON Office Solutions, will continue to operate separately in the market under the new leadership team.

Kevin Togashi is named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ricoh Americas Holdings, Inc. to manage the asset value and execute governance of all of Ricoh’s sales companies in the Americas. Previously, Togashi was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ricoh Americas Corporation. Togashi has over 37 years of experience with Ricoh and also held the post of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ricoh Europe.

Matthew J. Espe is named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ricoh Americas Corporation, with responsibility for Ricoh Americas Corporation operations in North, Central and South America, including its subsidiary, IKON Office Solutions, Inc. Espe joined IKON in 2002 as President and Chief Executive Officer and became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 2003. During this time, Espe developed and executed IKON’s strategy to improve operational excellence, strengthen efficiencies and enhance its document management offerings, and successfully led IKON through its acquisition by Ricoh Americas Corporation in 2008.

Jeffrey W. Hickling expands his current role as President and Chief Operating Officer of IKON Office Solutions to become President and Chief Executive Officer of Ricoh U.S. responsible for Ricoh’s direct sales and service organizations in the U.S., Ricoh Business Solutions and IKON Office Solutions, as well as its dealer network. Hickling joined IKON in 2005 as Senior Vice President of Operations and was promoted to President of IKON’s U.S. operations in 2008.

Martin Brodigan is named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Ricoh Americas Corporation and will also have responsibility for Ricoh Canada and Ricoh Latin America. Previously, Brodigan was President and Chief Executive Officer of Ricoh U.S. He also held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Ricoh U.S., spent eight years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ricoh Canada, and held several management positions throughout his 19 year career with Ricoh.

Other key leaders named to the new Ricoh Americas Corporation management team include:
