ECRM APPOINTS HENRY DE VAAL EUROPEAN DIRECTOR

Monday 19. April 2010 - ECRM today announced the appointment of Henry de Vaal as Business Director for Europe. With over 33 years experience in graphic industry sales and marketing, Mr. de Vaal will oversee and manage the company’s current and developing sales and marketing channels in Europe.

He will work out of Utrecht, Holland and report directly to ECRM’s Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Doug Barr. The appointment is effective immediately.

Meet Henry de Vaal
 
Mr. de Vaal’s experience in the graphic arts industry extends back to 1977 as product manager supporting Expograph’s distribution of ECRM’s Autokon monochrome laser scanner. Through the years he’s held positions of increasing sales and marketing responsibility with industry leaders Autologic and Monotype before joining ECRM in 1991 as a Sales Director supporting EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) activities. In late 1999 he joined MAN Roland as Business Development Manager in Western Europe until 2004 when he was named Managing Director of Howgraphic BV. In 2008 he was promoted Business Unit Manager for the parent company Wifac BV, where his team was responsible for over $30 million in sales.
 
He is a 1983 graduate of NIMA B (Marketing) in the Netherlands and achieved his MBA (with Distinction) from the Nederland’s Business School / IMC UK where he concentrated on International Marketing and Distribution. He is single with two children and he speaks four languages fluently (Dutch, German, English, and French).
