Océ Performance Program promises cost control and workflow integration

Tuesday 13. April 2010 - Océ, an international leader in digital document management and printing for professionals, today announced the launch of the Océ Performance program, an enhanced professional printing program.

The launch of the Océ Performance Program is in line with Océ’s new Managed Print Services, announced last month. Focused on optimizing resources in key target areas, the Océ Performance Program promises cost control, enhanced effectiveness, integration of workflow processes and ease of use.

Integrated improvement program
To help customers keep pace with ever-changing organizational landscapes and spend less time and money on print related tasks, Océ has developed a well structured and integrated improvement program focused on control, effectiveness, integration and convenience. Three important resource levels ? people, products and processes ? are optimized in these areas.

“Enormous savings potential”
One of the main drivers for customers to integrate the Océ Performance Program into their workflow will be cost control, according to Roger Bergs, International Product Manager for Océ. “Many customers are not aware of the enormous savings potential in their printer fleet management and document workflow. By optimizing a customer’s resources and finetuning processes around their workflow, we help them to accomplish significant savings in their print-related costs. We also provide permanent insight in cost development and the tools to control these costs in the future. What makes this program truly unique, is that ? besides providing insight in explicit costs ? specific attention is paid to hidden costs and other intangible aspects of a customer’s printer environment, such as sustainability, productivity aspects for IT-support as well as end user satisfaction and behavior,” says Bergs.

Optimization recommendations
The program offers multiple levels of assessment to determine document workflow and cost implications. Sophisticated print data collection, interviews and on-site analysis are performed by Océ and result in a structured report and recommendations for optimization of hardware, software, workflow and processes. “We also assess the printing behavior of our customers’ most valuable asset: their people. To change things, we need to change mindset. Reaching acceptance of the users and involving them in the change process is what makes the Océ Performance Program different from previous and existing improvement programs and really is the key to customer satisfaction”, concludes Bergs.
