Supporting a Continually Improving Culture

Wednesday 24. March 2010 - In a recent survey by Printing Industries of America, more than a quarter of companies acknowledged that their corporate culture was not supportive of employee engagement and continuous improvement.

The survey also found that many companies don’t have a continuous improvement program, and of those that do, about 30% admitted that their results had fallen well short of expectations.
Companies can’t afford to waste time and money and still hope to make a profit. If any business plans on running as efficiently as possible, then the Continuous Improvement Conference, April 18-21, 2010, in Tampa, Florida, is a great investment.
Printing Industries of America’s Continuous Improvement Conference, now in its third decade, assists companies with Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and corporate culture in the quest for reduced costs and better performance. The CI Conference helps companies save money and increase productivity by providing panels on:

Fostering a culture of innovation
Harnessing the power of A3 reporting
Building a winning culture
Controlling the digital production process
Ten tools that can be used to immediately improve business

The Continuous Improvement Conference helps shed light on the myriad of ways a company can become more efficient by utilizing the tools that already sit under its roof. Attending the book discussion on Ideas Are Free will illuminate managers on harnessing their employees’ brain power. Another panel, Improving Employee Involvement, will provide inside tips on getting everyone in the company engaged, which can lead to significant improvements in profit and productivity.
For the last 21 years, the Continuous Improvement Conference has guided printing companies in the use of CI concepts, philosophies, and increased excellence in business performance, manufacturing, and customer satisfaction. The 2010 CI Conference plans to add to that legacy by featuring in-depth printer-specific case studies of successful improvement initiatives, along with presentations on how to foster innovation, generate more employee ideas, and create a winning culture.
The conference is presented by Printing Industries of America in partnership with the Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association (FFTA).
