Glunz & Jensen boosts sales with their new gecko
Wednesday 17. March 2010 - In January Glunz & Jensen launched a new series of CtP plate processors - Gecko. Gecko is a very simple CtP plate processing platform, which can be used by most printers on the market today - especially printers who are looking for ways to optimise their press rooms and get started with true CtP.
This has shown to be the exact right strategy for the Danish company, as sales have exceeded expectations. A significant factor was the direct launch into the BRIK countries – Brazil, Russia, India and China, which are now ready for Computer-to-Plate. The timing for launch of Gecko was perfect and has resulted in immediate sales of 16 Geckos to India and 10 to Brazilian dealer within the first month of launching.
Business Director, Simon Jensen: “Printers looking to get started with CtP processing, should really have a look at Gecko
You can rest assured that Glunz & Jensen is the safe choice for a trusted and reliable processing solution”.
“It is dependable, simple to use, easy to install, and due to the reuse of our trusted developing technology, it delivers the Glunz & Jensen processing quality, which is now available and beneficial for all the smaller printing offices and houses.”
Gecko
Gecko plate processor family is Glunz & Jensens new basic processing platform, recommended for printers with an annual production of up to typically 13,000 m2/year (140,550 ft2/year). The plate processor is built by using Glunz & Jensens technology, components and quality, and based on the knowledge and experiences from the more advanced and highly recognised processor families.
The Gecko is a simple processing solution with a basic range of configuration options that meets the requirements of most printers in either an offline or an online version for thermal, violet or conventional applications.
Gecko will be shown at IPEX at our stand 09 – D320
