FCP and WAN-IFRA agree partnership for IFRA Expo 2010

Friday 12. March 2010 - Joint programme of presentations highlighting latest CP trends at the leading event of the newspaper and media industry

Forum Corporate Publishing (FCP), in cooperation with WAN-IFRA, is organising presentations on latest trends and challenges in corporate publishing during IFRA Expo 2010 in Hamburg. From 4 to 6 October 2010, media developments will be discussed and successful case studies analysed at the “Media Port”.

Michael Heipel, Executive Director Supplier Services and Event Management at WAN-IFRA, says: “The Media Port will offer IFRA Expo visitors and exhibitors a significant added value. The objective is to highlight currently successful publishing trends in various areas and present the software and systems behind these developments. We are very pleased to be able to offer, in cooperation with FCP, a programme of presentations on the growing corporate publishing segment.”

Orchestrated communication concepts are becoming increasingly important today and are essential for effective corporate communication.

“Successful corporate publishers offer their customers attractive cross-media information and engage in intensive dialogue with them. IFRA Expo shows all applications that enable such cross-media publishing. At the exhibition, FCP will offer an overview of exciting innovations and analyse the possibilities of corporate publishing as a business model for agencies and publishing houses,” says Michael Höflich, CEO of Forum Corporate Publishing.

The focus at the Media Port will also be on topics such as hyperlocal publishing, e-Reading, cross-media publishing strategies, trends in mobile as well as innovative advertising concepts.

The “Corporate Publishing” special event will be held on Wednesday, 6 October, from 10.30 to 13.00 h. Entry is free of charge for IFRA Expo visitors. Michael Höflich will act as moderator and give the introductory address.

Exhibitors at IFRA Expo with suitable case studies from their customer base can apply to participate in the programme of presentations to Michael Heipel.
