Fujifilm scores a hat-trick of awards from DIMA for innovative digital products.

March 2010 - Fujifilm is delighted to announce that the FinePix HS10, FinePix F80EXR and the FinePix Z700EXR have all been recognised by the Digital Imaging MarketingAssociation (DIMA) at the prestigious Innovative Digital Product Awards 2010. Theannouncement was made at the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) Trade show and convention in Anaheim, California, on Feb 20th, 2010.
Three of the six DIMA Innovative Digital Product Awards givento digital cameras were snapped up by Fujifilm. These awards recognise productsor services that are technologically innovative or a first of a kind.

The latest addition to Fujifilm’s award-winning range of longzoom ‘bridge’ cameras, the FinePix HS10 digital camera offers anunprecedented feature set that combines a powerful Fujinon 30x (24-720mmequivalent) manual optical zoom lens with sophisticated photographic controls,advanced functionality and D-SLR-like handling in a single compact, affordable camera.The HS10 is built for speed, with a BSI-CMOS sensor; and a body designcarefully crafted to make accessing controls fast and simple, so you won’t missa shot. In addition to the Fujinon 30x Wide-Telephoto zoom lens, Triple ImageStabilisation and the four new unique shooting modes, the FinePix HS10 alsofeatures a full HD movie mode (1080p) with stereo sound, combined RAW/JPEGshooting, and an Electronic Viewfinder that automatically switches the picturebetween the EVF and the LCD screen when the eye is withdrawn. The FinePix HS10will be available in April 2010 at an estimated retail price of £399 GBP.
The Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR digital camera is asleek, compact digital camera that combines intuitive use with Fujifilm’s awardwinning EXR technology and the most advanced features available in apoint-and-shoot digital camera. Among its many features, the FinePix F80EXR hasan impressive Fujinon 10x (27mm-270mm equivalent) Wide-Angle optical zoom lens,a 12-MegaPixel Super CCD EXR sensor, a large, 3.0″ High-Contrast LCD, HD MovieCapture and Face Recognition that allows users to register up to eight faces,along with names, birthdays and categories. You can then search to view imagesof any of your registered people. In addition, this camera has a NEW PetDetection feature that automatically detects either a dog’s or a cat’s face,optimises focus and exposure and only takes a shot when the animal turns to facethe camera front-on, reducing the chance of missing a shot. The Fujifilm FinePix Z700EXR combines a massive 3.5″ touch-screenLCD with a 12-MegaPixel Super CCD EXR sensor, a Fujinon 5x Periscopic opticalzoom lens (36-180mm equivalent) and ISO levels of up to 3200 at full resolution,with an innovative GUI that puts intuitive touch screen technology into thehands of its users. In fact, the Touch Shot feature provides the ability for “onetouch” focus and shooting for amazingly easy picture taking, all with just atouch of the finger. The Z700EXR also has Face Recognition and Pet Detection,technology described above, plus HD Movie capture. At only 16.9mm* thin, theFinePix Z700EXR is housed inside a full metal chassis, and will be availableMarch 2010 at an estimated retail price of £199.
