From its early beginnings in Belgium, the C.P. Bourg Group has grown to have a worldwide presence with subsidiaries in the United States and Europe, and distributes its products though its own sales forces, its global network of distributors and its printer vendor partners. Since it first collaborated with Xerox in 1986, C.P. Bourg s.a. has been a leading supplier of highperformance finishing equipment to the digital print market. Over the years tens of thousands of in-line finishing modules have been supplied, some of them under OEM labels and others under the Bourg brand.
The combination of partnering with the printer vendors and having its own staff in daily contact with customers has allowed the company to have clear insight into the needs of their customers not only today but in the future. “The C.P. Bourg Group companies never forget that most of their customers earn their living by selling the output from their Bourg finishing devices”, says Bourg C.E.O. Daniel Vande Poel. ” We know that they depend on us to ensure that the finishing is right first time, every time.” Whether it is a high speed bookletmaker with bleed-trimming or a PUR perfect binder for photo-books, all Bourg equipment is backed by vast accumulated experience at the design stage, informed by intimate knowledge of the customers’ requirements and supported by a team of technicians who can provide service 24/7.
Over the years C.P. Bourg s.a. has won award after award for its technical excellence, most recently the “best in show” at the On Demand Show in 2009. The company’s Belgian headquarter’s design, manufacturing, sales and service organisation is certified to the demanding ISO 9001 quality standard.
“As the C.P. Bourg Group prepares to enter its second half-century, it will continue to be guided by the principles of quality, innovation and efficiency that have led it to such success for the last fifty years” says founder and President Christian-Pierre Bourg.
