Printing Industries Press Announces New Edition of PrintScape: A Crash Course in Graphic Communications

Friday 04. December 2009 - Printing Industries Press is pleased to announce the much-anticipated release of the newly revised PrintScape: A Crash Course in Graphic Communications, 2nd Edition.

This “orientation-in-a-box” program, which provides a comprehensive overview of today’s print and graphic communications industry, includes a DVD and companion workbook that can easily be utilized in the classroom or as a training resource for professionals in the industry. New hires and current employees alike will be able to utilize this program as it contains valuable knowledge for those involved with sales, marketing, production, or administration.

The DVD contains information, graphics, animation, and video and audio clips that provide a fast-paced way to obtain all of the essential, basic knowledge. The companion workbook provides additional information and statistics as well as chapters on the following topics:

The industry and print markets
Career paths
The complete printing process
Health and safety in printing plants
Training and professional development

The program materials include a workbook and DVD set (Item No. 91502) for instructors or self-study use, which is $99 for members or $200 for non-members, and a workbook only (Item No. 91512) for student use in a traditional classroom setting, which is $30 for members or $45 for non-members.
