Monday 26. October 2009 - Agfa Graphics introduces higher imaging speed on the :Advantage N-DL/TR platesetters.

Agfa Graphics has unveiled the high speed option on the :Advantage N platesetters.

“Productivity is key to newspapers” said Marc Op de Beeck, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Agfa Graphics. “With the new option the production is up to 300 plates per hour offering more flexibility towards deadlines. We had announced :Advantage N platesetters last year and introduced an ideal balance between reliability, quality and efficiency in design. Now at IFRA we are happy to demonstrate this high speed option, built on the experience we have with :Advantage N.”
To meet various production requirements, the :Advantage N series of platesetters for the newspaper industry comes in different types from manual to fully automatic. The high speed option will be available on the automatic:Advantage N-DL and :Advantage N-TR systems.
Also new at IFRA is the introduction of the :Advantage N-TR, an automatic version with a mobile trolley for offline loading of multiple plate sizes, up to 1500 plates.
