WAZ Media Group chooses EidosMedia
Thursday 15. October 2009 - Germanys largest regional publisher chooses EidosMedias multiple-media publishing platform for the print and online editions of eight regional dailies.
With over fifty daily and weekly newspaper titles and several hundred magazines and journals published in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe, the WAZ Media group is one of Europes largest publishers.
The group has announced that they will adopt the innovative EidosMedia publishing platform Méthode for their flagship daily, the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung and seven other titles published in the North-Rhine Westfalia and Thuringia regions. The Méthode installation will serve a combined editorial staff of nearly a thousand.
“The Méthode solution will play a fundamental role in the new technical workflows we are building,” said WAZ Project Manager, Markus Wendler. “First the five North-Rhine Westfalia dailies will share one common Méthode platform chosen by the editorial teams. This approach allows significant synergies and productivity gains.”
