Carbon Footprint_in the Forest

Thursday 15. October 2009 - The PrintCity Alliance is working on a new initiative to research Carbon Footprint & Energy Efficiency in the printing & packaging industry. The objective is to analyse and give guidance on how to measure and use Carbon Footprints, as a catalyst for improved process efficiency & environmental performance.

PrintCity will network with other organisations at the European level, inviting them to contribute to and review this important research. Our objective is to help harmonise and improve how our industry understands and utilises Carbon Footprints.

PrintCity members involved are: manroland, UPM, Sun Chemical, Kurz, Trelleborg, Sappi, Faist, MKW and M-real, plus project partner Kodak.

We will publish a PrintCity best practice guide in 2010.
