LAlsace goes live with Méthode
Tuesday 13. October 2009 - The French regional daily is in full production with EidosMedias editorial and publishing platform.
Based in Mulhouse, the daily lAlsace serves the region of the same name in the east of France with nine local print editions as well as a bilingual edition in both French and German.
LAlsace has now entered full daily production with EidosMedias Méthode editorial and publishing platform.
Méthodes multi-edition functions allow close collaboration between editorial staff in the Mulhouse newsroom and those in the 11 local offices, sharing common content and customising advertising and editorial for local editions in an integrated editorial workspace.
An important feature of the Alsace project is the integration with the existing ABB press installation. Completed pages and production data are passed seamlessly to the press management system, while information about press availability and performance is displayed in real time in the Méthode planning environment.
The Méthode platform is being used by around 150 editorial staff and was chosen as a replacement for the existing Wedia system.
