Tieto appoints Andrey Konev Head of Digital Transformation and Consulting Services in Russia and CIS countries

Tuesday 06. October 2009 - In 2008, Tieto announced its growth plans and ambitions for Russia. As a part of its plan to execute the strategy, Tieto has invited Andrey Konev (born in 1975) to join Tieto as the Head of Digital Transformation and Consulting Services (DTC) in Russia and the CIS countries.

Mr Konev`s main responsibilities in the new role include leading DTC business in Russia, with a focus on sales, offering and business development. The DTC offering includes Digital Service Design (DSD), Customer Interaction management (CIM) and consulting services. He is also responsible for managing co-operation with Microsoft and other partners.

Mr Konev graduated from St-Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, with an emphasis on applied mathematics. In 2001, Andrey received an MBA degree from Imperial College Management School, one of the leading business schools in the United Kingdom. He has a solid background in international business and for the past years worked as Director for Partner Programs and Strategy at Microsoft Russia, where he was responsible for cooperation with 7 500 partners in Russia.
