Kodak Executive Honored with STEVIE Award in Sixth Annual International Business AwardsSM

Wednesday 23. September 2009 - Kodak’s Karen Sherrill Named Customer Service Executive of the Year

The International Business AwardsSM recently selected KODAK Service and Support’s Karen Sherrill as Customer Service Executive of the Year. The recognition, part of the prestigious STEVIE Awards program, selected Kodak’s Worldwide Service Director for Kodak’s Document Imaging business for her focus on customer initiatives.

Sherrill most recently led a restructuring initiative over the past year to increase the number of total solutions available to Kodak’s Document Imaging customers. Under her direction, Sherrill helped with the creation of a single, cohesive service unit, which serves a broad portfolio of document capture and storage hardware and software offerings across various worldwide organizations, including non-Kodak products. KODAK Service and Support is a multi-vendor, integrated global service provider comprising more than 3,000 professionals, reaching more than 120 counties.

Members of the Awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected International STEVIE winners from finalists chosen by preliminary judges from around the world.

“Service and support represent one of the best investments a business can make to provide uninterrupted operations to its customers,” said Michael Gallagher, president of The STEVIE Awards, presenters of the IBAs. “Karen’s service expertise is vast and continues to demonstrate Kodak’s consistent delivery and innovative approach in this market.”

In the past four years, KODAK Service and Support generated a 98 percent overall satisfaction rating through helping customers increase productivity and return-on-investment. Service and Support also helps reseller partners of Kodak’s Document Imaging business establish new revenue streams. Sherrill’s team was recognized for Most Innovative Approach to Service Delivery at the WBR Field Service Conference in 2008.

“Over the past year, Karen has helped the KODAK Service and Support team for our Document Imaging business with exceeding financial expectations and driving parts inventory to the lowest level, while maintaining revenues and driving customer satisfaction levels,” said Bernadette Lodico, General Manager, Service and Support, Kodak’s Business Solutions and Services Group. “It is evident from this recognition that her innovative thinking, business development skills, and operational excellence capabilities are an integral part of our team’s overall success.”

Kodak was also recognized this year by the International Business AwardsSM as a STEVIE Finalist in the categories of Customer Service Team of the Year and Customer Service Department of the Year.
