Flash Color Achieves 30 Percent Growth Thanks to HP Indigo Digital Technology
Thursday 03. September 2009 - HP today announced that Flash Color, of Paris, has seen a 30 percent increase in profit and expanded its business this year, thanks to the its new HP Indigo press 5500.
Flash Color is the first French photo laboratory to invest in the HP Indigo press 5500.
“We chose HP as we feel they understand the industry, the deadlines photographers have to meet every day, and how efficient customer service needs to be”, said Cyril Bobard, manager, Flash Color. “Moreover, the HP Indigo press 5500 six colours is the only digital press on the market to deliver photo-quality results.”
The HP Indigo press 5500 enables Flash Color to print 5000 20x30cm pictures in two hours with minimal intervention when previously the company needed two days to produce the same job. Flash Color is now also able to produce photobooks and press kits for public institutions and luxury brands looking for high-quality materials in small quantities.
