BASF to increase prices for glues

Monday 31. August 2009 - Effective September 1st, 2009, BASF will increase the sales prices of its Kaurit - and Kauramin glues by € 15 per metric ton.

These price adjustments by BASF are necessary to maintain the production and to secure the reliable supply of its customers in the current market environment.

Kaurit – and Kauramin glues are aqueous adhesives on the basis of urea, melamine and/or phenol and formaldehyde. The woodworking products produced by our customers with these glues are applied in the furniture and construction industries.
