BASF to increase prices for PVC-Modifiers

August 2009 - Effective September 1st, 2009, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase prices in EuropEffective September 1st, 2009, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase prices in Europe for Vinuran impact modifiers by €150 per metric ton and for Vinuran processing aids by €120 per metric ton. e for Vinuran impact modifiers by €150 per metric ton and for Vinuran processing aids by €120 per metric ton.

The price adjustment is necessary due to increased raw material cost.

Vinuran grades are used as acrylic impact modifiers and acrylic processing aids for the processing of PVC.
