PRINTABLE ANNOUNCES SAAS DIRECTSMILE INTEGRATION
Wednesday 26. August 2009 - Image Personalization through DirectSmile Available With Printable Products
Printable Technologies Inc., a leading provider of software as a service (SaaS) web-to-print and media personalization solutions, announced today a new, innovative partnership with DirectSmile the inventor of image personalization.
Printable’s MarcomCentral will be the first SaaS web-to-print solution to integrate DirectSmile’s image personalization. The purely SaaS collateral management solution enables the creation of incredibly eye catching and intelligent marketing materials without the need for internal investments in hardware, software, and development resources.
DirectSmile’s products will also integrate with the entire line of Printable’s variable data publishing (VDP) products including FusionPro Desktop, FusionPro Direct, and FusionPro Server. The 14,000 customers who have installed a FusionPro VDP product will be able to use a familiar interface and rules wizard to produce dynamic templates with image personalization. To maximize the production of personalized images, output files are only available through products with server composition including FusionPro Direct, FusionPro Server, and MarcomCentral.
“Printable is the first turnkey SaaS workflow for image personalization with our business partner DirectSmile, the leader in this space” said Dustin Ritter, Director of Marketing at Printable Technologies. “Now organizations of all sizes can create marketing campaigns with personalized images that can dramatically increase response rates at just a fraction of the cost. We will continually seek solutions that facilitate a greater return on investment for our clients.”
Also for the first time, DirectSmile’s image personalization capabilities can be output to the entire line of FusionPro output formats including PDF, PostScript, VDX, PPML, HP-PPML, VPS, JLYT, VIPP, Digimaster-PostScript, and the recently added AFP.
“Printable’s highly flexible output formats and SaaS delivery model fit the long-term goals of DirectSmile,” said Ed Ickowski, Director of Business Development for DirectSmile. “Users will have more options for outputting their image personalization files through Printable and we know the SaaS model will extend our reach into the marketplace.”
The two companies plan to make the software available for purchase by Print09. Attendees of the conference can see a demonstration at the Printable booth #7640.
