GWS contracted by Mittmedia for press extension

Friday 24. July 2009 - The Swedish based newspaper Publisher and printer Mittmedia has contracted Graphic Web Systems B.V. of The Netherlands for a press extension of their KBA Journal newspaper press at the location Gävle in Sweden.

The current press confirmation comprises from left to right out of one floor mounted mono printing unit, one 4-high printing tower, one folder, one 4-high printing tower and three reelstands positioned underneath the press. The mono printing unit positioned at the left hand side will be removed and replaced by one additional 4-high tower to be supplied, installed and integrated by Graphic Web Systems B.V. In addition Graphic Web Systems B.V. will carry out an upgrade to the present press control system in close co-operation with EAE of Germany. The additional KBA Journal tower will be supplied by Graphic Web Systems B.V. during the month of August this year, the reconfigured press will be in production in its new configuration before the end of this year.
