Lawrence Zimmerman Named Vice Chair of Xerox
Friday 17. July 2009 - The Board of Directors of Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) today elected Lawrence Zimmerman as vice chair of the corporation, acknowledging his significant contributions to the company. Zimmerman continues as chief financial officer and adds the vice chair title.
“Larry provides the clarity, integrity and strategic insights that help ensure the financial health of our company, even during these tough economic times,” said Ursula Burns, Xerox chief executive officer. “The vice chair role recognizes not only his past accomplishments but also the future value we place in his leadership as CFO of Xerox.”
Zimmerman joined Xerox in 2002. He is responsible for all finance, investor relations, treasury, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, tax, and audit operations at Xerox.
Zimmermans vice chair title, which is a non-Board role, is effective immediately.
