HP at Labelexpo Europe 2009, 23 – 26 September
Tuesday 14. July 2009 - HP's stand (9G65 & 9G70) will showcase the HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Press and the HP Indigo press ws4500; prepress solutions from EskoArtwork; finishing systems from partners including A B Graphic International and HP's Business Development services. HP will present the latest developments in digital label, shrink sleeve and flexible packaging production.
HP’s newest press for digital label printing, the high volume HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Press, printing at 30 metres per minute in four-colour mode, is compatible with a broad range of substrates from 12 – 450 microns for label or shrink-sleeve media including folding carton material. As 70 percent of all label jobs are for orders under 50,000 labels, (37 percent are for fewer than 25,000), this press is perfectly optimised for medium and short-run jobs and offers combination of quality, fast turnarounds and flexibility. The HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Press has been developed for printers requiring capacity of 300,000m/month (single shift).
The HP Indigo press ws4500 combines the fast set-up of digital printing with features and capabilities that further increase productivity and print quality. The HP Indigo press ws4500 offers a fully automated workflow as well as enhanced colour capabilities that out-perform conventional printing methods. It is specifically engineered for cost-effective production jobs of approximately 2000 linear metres (6,500 linear feet) and for a variety of label, shrink sleeve and packaging applications.
HP Indigo digital presses and end-to-end solutions enable converters to take advantage of new market trends and profit opportunities, including short to medium runs for static and variable data applications including label production, shrink sleeves and flexible packaging.
