Xplor Report Outstanding Results from First Two Seminars
Tuesday 30. June 2009 - XDU on the Road in Cincinnati and Atlanta Draw over 60 Attendees
Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today announced outstanding results from the first two XDU on the Road Seminars held June 23 and 24 in Cincinnati and Atlanta. Over 60 attendees participated in the day-long seminars, conducted in intimate classroom-sized settings, to hear industry experts discuss topics within the programs “Trends in Customer Communications” theme. The next XDU on the Road will take place July 14, 2009 in Dallas and on July 15, 2009 in Omaha.
“We are quite happy with the outcome from the first two seminars and feedback from attendees, sponsors and presenters have all be very positive,” said Skip Henk, EDP, President and CEO of Xplor International. “In addition, weve seen strong interest from non-members on joining Xplor as well as enthusiastic participation from existing members.”
Designed for busy professionals and offering unique face to face experiences, the XDU on the Road program offers interaction with sponsors, networking with colleagues and the ultimate XDU educational experience. Attendees benefit from knowledge shared by a combination of end users, industry analysts and subject matter experts who provide collective information through real world experiences. The XDU on the Road seminar will run through November 2009 in selected U.S. cites.
XDU on the Road is the latest addition to Xplor Document University (XDU), sponsored by Kodak, an educational program developed and maintained by Xplor International that includes an annual global conference and exhibition as well as year round opportunities for continued education. XDU on the Road is sponsored by DocuLynx, GMC Software Technology and Solimar Systems who are supporting the nine city program. In addition, ISIS Papyrus, Elixir Technologies and Pitney Bowes have also joined as city sponsors. The program is designed for corporate document strategists, executives in operations and IT, business owners, content developers and anyone interested in understanding the impact of emerging applications on customer communications.
