WHERE THERE’S MUCK……

Monday 22. June 2009 - Polestar Sheffield has been an unexpected beneficiary of The Telegraph Media Group’s outstanding recent success investigating the Parliamentary expense scandal. In addition to the run lengths increasing for both the Saturday and Sunday titles, the company was also chosen to print the 68-page tabloid supplement, The Complete Expenses File, published at the weekend.

Paul Brady, Printing Director of Telegraph Media Group, says: “TMG were delighted with Polestar’s response to what was an extremely time-sensitive and important supplement and without their help and commitment, it would have been almost impossible to publish in such a short space of time.”

Polestar Sheffield Account Director Jeff White says: “Telegraph Media Group kept this supplement a closely guarded secret and only notified us of their intention to publish the title with a lead time of only two days. We were of course delighted to be able to help. The plant is full but we still managed to convert 230 tonnes of paper and deliver on the title on time.”

He continues: “Obviously, as the newspaper’s circulation has risen due to the public demand for the information, so we have also seen longer runs required for the supplements we produce for the weekend papers, including Saturday Telegraph Magazine, Stella and Seven.”
