Stora Enso shares converted

Friday 12. June 2009 - During the 1-29 May 2009 conversion period there was one conversion and a total of 347 A shares were converted into R shares. The shares were recorded in the Finnish trade register today, 12 June 2009, and trading in the new R shares will start on 15 June 2009.

Each A share and each ten R shares carry one vote. The total amount of votes
after conversion is 238 390 726.
