Eastman Increases OXO Alcohols Prices on July 1

Tuesday 09. June 2009 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective July 1, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials.

Eastman 2-Ethylhexanol: Off-list price increase of $US 0.07 /lb ($US 0.154/kg) in North America and Latin America.

Eastman n-Butyl Alcohol: Off-list price increase of $US 0.07 /lb ($US 0.154/kg) in North America and Latin America.

Eastman Isobutyl Alcohol: Off-list price increase of $US 0.07 /lb ($US 0.154/kg) in North America and Latin America.

Eastman n-Propyl Alcohol: Off-list price increase of $US 0.03 /lb ($US 0.066/kg) globally.

Eastman Isopropyl Alcohol: Off-list price increase of $US 0.03 /lb ($US 0.066/kg) globally.

Eastman 2-Ethylhexanoic Acid: Off-list price increase of $US 0.07 /lb ($US 0.154/kg) in North America and Latin America.

Eastman Propionic Acid, All Grades: Off-list price increase of $US 0.03 /lb ($US 0.066/kg) in North America and Latin America.
