Eastman Increases Glycols Ether Esters Prices on July 1

Tuesday 09. June 2009 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective July 1, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.

Eastman EB Acetate: Off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.132/kg) globally.

Eastman DB Acetate: Off-list price increase of $US 0.06 /lb ($US 0.132/kg) globally.

Eastman PM Acetate: Off-list price increase of $US 0.10 /lb ($US 0.22/kg) globally.
