Eastman Increases Aldehydes Prices on July 1

Tuesday 09. June 2009 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective July 1, or as contracts allow. These increases are due to elevated operating costs, particularly in raw materials.

Eastman n-Butyraldehyde: Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) in North America.

Eastman Isobutyraldehyde: Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) in North America.

Eastman Propionaldehyde: Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) in North America.

Eastman 2-Ethylhexaldehyde: Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.11/kg) in North America.
