Printing Industries of America Launches New, Revitalized Website

Tuesday 02. June 2009 - Printing Industries of America proudly announces the launch of its new, revitalized website, www.printing.org.

The new website is designed to forge better communications within the graphic communications industry, its suppliers, partners, customers, and lawmakers; and to better reflect the activities within the organization.

Improved Navigation, Easier to Find Content
With the redesign of the site comes improved navigation, making content easier to find and requiring minimal clicks to navigate to desired pages. The search tool has also been improved with Google-like functionality, making it more intuitive and generating optimal results for the user.

Michael Makin, President and CEO of Printing Industries of America, commented on the new website, saying, “Printing.org offers improved functionality and ease of use. It remains an invaluable resource for our members, as well as the entire graphic communications industry. The website now has a modern, inviting look and navigation is a breeze. I’m excited and thrilled with the new design and ease of use, and we can’t wait to hear feedback from the industry.”

New Site Powered by Latest Web Technologies
Technology and programming set the stage for increased speed and a simplified purchasing process. The efficiency of the site allows the browser to load the Web pages quickly, and the event registration and online purchasing process is simple and quick. The technology behind www.printing.org now allows Google and other search engines to crawl the site, and over the next few months, printing.org and its related content will have the potential to rank higher within such search engines.

While the initial launch of Printing Industries of America’s website takes place on June 1, 2009, the industry can expect more features and improvements to come. The new site will continually evolve and improve based on the needs and suggestions of members and customers.
