QuadTech Launches “ThinkTank Conversations” in Nine Languages

Monday 01. June 2009 - QuadTech, Inc., has launched its "ThinkTank Conversations"—a series of industry-related articles designed to provide insights and information to the printing community. As the preeminent designer and manufacturer of automated print controls, QuadTech is making these conversations available as part of its online Resource Library.

The ThinkTank Conversations will be part of an ongoing series of interviews and articles from QuadTech thought leaders discussing a wide range of topics that are of high importance to the printing industry. Each installment will include links to related articles and tools for sharing the content with colleagues.

“We strive to be more than just a vendor—we are a partner in our customer’s success,” said Karl Fritchen, President of QuadTech. “Our printing expertise is unmatched by any of our competitors. We have engineers—160 of them—and product managers, sales and service personnel, management, and a host of other employees who literally grew up in printing. We’ve always invested that knowledge base into new innovations. But the ThinkTank Conversations give us a chance to make it accessible to anyone. The reason we call it a “conversation” is that there’s also a tool for others in our industry to comment and contribute to the topic.”

The first two installments of ThinkTank Conversations are available now in the Resource Library section of www.quadtechworld.com. The first is a discussion from Jim Wodicka, QuadTech Regional Manager in Europe, about the challenges and opportunities for newspaper printers to maximize their presses by printing semi-commercial work.

The second issue features QuadTech President Karl Fritchen, and focuses on how printers can survive a difficult economy, and prepare for the inevitable recovery. In his discussion, Karl addresses what printers can do during these tough economic times to help their businesses, and talks about the measures QuadTech is implementing to ensure they’re bringing quality products to the industry.

“We really want to demonstrate to our customers that we’re always thinking of ways to share information that can help in their businesses,” said Fritchen. We’re very excited to be able to tap into the wealth of knowledge and experience we have with our employees, and share it across the printing industry.”
